Kids: at work

Part of growing up in a poor family is working to help the family.

They may help their parents by going and collecting firewood (maybe an hour's walk away). Girls may learn to weave and sell their work.

Boys and girls will work for money, if they can find suitable work. Interestingly, they give what they earn to their mother, who is the 'provider'.
