Pachojilaj Junior High School

Pachojilaj Junior High school started up about seven years ago. It is a co-op, receiving money from parents, the town hall, and the government.

 

It is noted for its school band, which rehearses from February to October. The school was completely rebuilt in 2007 with money from Spain. Because of the small amount of land they have, the playground is on the roof!

 

• About 240 students attend the school

• The school has a computer lab and is beside a 5-a-side soccer pitch

• School marching band has won national prizes

• Classes start at 1:30 pm through to 6:00 pm
